Saint Lawrence Area Poets (SLAP) is a group of local poets who meet monthly in Canton and Potsdam and hold regular, open readings at local cafes and arts venues. Anyone who is interested in poetry is welcome. SLAP also publishes a newsletter of original poetry by St. Lawrence area poets.
