St. Lawrence Area Poets

That's right--this Thursday night is Fright Night in Potsdam!  And SLAP will host a humongous open-mike poetry reading at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council on Market Street in downtown Potsdam.  The festivities start at 7:00, w/ prizes for the most gruesome poem & for the best costume.  Bring a couple of poems & a couple of friends. 

I'd like to remind everyone to listen to the Howie & the Wolfman radio show on Saturday afternoon, 1:00 - 3:00.  This will be their terrifying annual Halloween show.  I am, of course, the Wolfman.  Listen at 91.1 on your FM dial, or check out the fun online @ radio.clarkson.edu.  We play requests.

What else?  I understand that Janice Brabaw, long-distance friend of SLAP in New York City, will be up for a book signing at SLU (her new poetry book is coming out soon) sometime in November or December.  More details as I get them.
